RISE 2004 is an international forum for researchers and practitioners interested in the advances in, and applications of, new, integrated and practical software engineering approaches that are part of a methodological framework and that apply to new and evolving applications, technologies and systems. It provides a nice opportunity to present and observe the latest research, results, and ideas in in the integration of complementary software engineering techniques. All papers submitted to this workshop will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the International Program Committee. Acceptance will be based primarily on originality and contribution.

http://www.ercim.org ), the FNR - Luxembourg National Research Fund (http://www.fnr.lu) and the SE2C - Software Engineering Competence Center (http://se2c.uni.lu).
RISE 2004 is collocated with the
FIDJI 2004 International Workshop on scientiFic engIneering of Distributed Java applIcations.
